Perform the following steps to upgrade to OMP-AMIS version 8.6:
(for installation details, see What’s new in version 8.5) Note: the AMIS 8.6 application and database files are based on a different database structure and will therefore not work when they are linked to a database or application from a previous version (8.5 or earlier). You need to install an empty database and import data first, if you want to work with older data sets. |
The data import process will convert all existing data into the new format; no data will be lost or need to be re-entered.
- Companies with a large number of users should upgrade all OMP installations at the same time to avoid running a mix of different versions.
